Personal Biography:

My name is Catherine Irene. I am a Biomedical Scientist and a certified Mindset Coach with over 15 years of experience supporting parents of children with special needs. My journey is personal, as I am a proud mother to a gorgeous child called Desire, my beautiful daughter diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Through my experiences, I’ve developed a deep passion for helping parents navigate the emotional, mental, and practical challenges of raising a child with special needs. I founded A Place of Hope Academy to empower parents with clarity, confidence, and tools to build calmer, more connected homes. My mission is to remind every parent: you are not alone, and your child’s potential is worth every step of this journey.

Qualification:

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Developmental Psychology
• BCBA Certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
• Master’s Degree in Special Education from London University
• Occupational Therapy (OT) License from Royal College USA
